Is Broker Capitals a Scam?

Broker Capitals claims to be a brand of Broker Capitals Inc., established 20 years ago in the UK. Furthermore, the company allegedly has had an FCA license for the last 15 years. Since we were quite suspicious about this fact and were not provided with the license number, we searched the FCA register. As suspected, there’s no Broker Capitals Inc. or Broker Capitals trading firm.

Additionally, the Client Agreement indicates that the actual owner of this charade is Broker Capitals Limited, incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the only place without a financial regulator.

Broker Capitals is not a legitimate trading company. The website was registered in December 2021, and the firm has already been blacklisted by the Italian regulator CONSOB. The trust index for this particular website is low.

Reasons Not to Trust an Unlicensed Broker

Unlicensed trading firms don’t follow any legal prerogatives. In fact, they’re free to do whatever they like, including vanishing with clients’ funds. Once it happens, tracing your money is hard, and recovering it is even more complicated. That’s the main reason to avoid unregulated offshore fraud and deal with legitimate firms under ASIC, FCA, BaFin, or any other Tier1 license.

Furthermore, we strongly urge you to stay away from WinzoFx, Trade Unity, and FTM Trade fake brokers.

Broker Capitals Is Blacklisted by the Italian Regulator CONSOB

The Italian regulator blacklisted Broker Capitals trading firm. According to a warning, both of the company’s domains are added to the list of fraudulent domains, and customers should avoid them by all means. According to CONSOB, there’s no compensation fund to reimburse victims.

What Do Traders Think Of Broker Capitals?

In addition to regulatory opinion, we have checked traders’ reviews. As expected, very few of them are positive. Mainly, customers are complaining about withdrawals. Once they submit a withdrawal request, it seems this broker stops responding and blocks customers’ access to the trading account and platform.

Broker Capitals Available Online Trading Platform & Tools

If you were hoping for something positive in this review, it’s not the trading platform. Broker Capitals offers a rudimentary WebTrader without any special tools. You will not have access to EAs, social trading, or any other advanced features. Instead, there is a dashboard showing currently open trades, a trade column enabling you to open a position, and a market watch giving you brief news. You can see your trading history in the orders section, and check accounts tab showing the remaining funds and margin level.

What Is The More Efficient Software?

Whether you’re new to online trading or an experienced investor, you will find MetaTrader way more advanced. Regardless of your decision for MT4 or MT5, you’re about to get the most advanced software with the largest number of trading tools. This platform supports automated trading and social trading, meaning you’re not doomed to traditional investment as with WebTrader. In addition, you can implement different strategies, customize the entire interface, and apply some in-depth analytical tools.

Broker Capitals Accounts Overview

You can choose from one of the 3 account types:

  • Micro – $200
  • Standard – $250
  • Premium – $5,000

Besides the initial deposit, the Micro account supports only Forex and metals trading, while from the Standard, you can also request access to other CFDs. In addition, margin call and stop-out levels are changing with each type, while the leverage is reducing from 1:1000 for the Micro account to 1:100 for the Premium one.

Broker Capitals Broker – Countries Of Service

Upon reviewing the complaints, we concluded that the majority of Broker Capitals trading scam victims come from:

  • Italy
  • Germany
  • France
  • Spain
  • Switzerland

Also, remember the names of the trading frauds AltoFX, MetaversesWorld, and StakingTrades trading scams and avoid them at all costs! Furthermore, before investing, always check the background of internet trading organizations!

Broker Capitals Range of Trading Markets

Depending on the account type, clients can access the following markets:

  • Forex – EUR/USD, USD/TRY, CAD/ZAR
  • Indices – DJIA, S&P500, CAC40
  • Shares – AMZN, NFLX, GOOGL
  • Commodities – corn, gold, soybean
  • Cryptocurrencies – DASH, SHIB, DOGE

What Trading Terms Does Broker Capitals Offer?

The broker offers trading terms that directly oppose the FCA regulation, showing us that they cannot be licensed. If you trust the website, all these terms are in your favor, such as low spreads and high leverage. In reality, you’re quicker to lose your funds without being able to manage the risk appropriately. In addition, the company charges some hefty trading fees.

About Leverage and Spread

The leverage ranges from 1:100 to 1:1000, depending on the account type. As per the FCA regulation, the highest leverage is for the Forex market, going up to 1:30. The spread is advertised to be 0.6 pips for EUR/USD pair. However, the Account Types section indicates that the benchmark is 1.0 pips.

Minimum Investment Amount

The minimum investment amount Broker Capitals requires is $200. This is somewhat lower demand than other scheme firms requesting at least $250. However, this broker itself is not worth your money. Every penny you invest is at risk, and there’s no regulator to reimburse you.

Broker Capitals Deposit, Withdrawal Methods, and Fees

When it comes to deposits and withdrawals, the first thing to mention is suspicious payment processors, including CardPayz and e-wallet PayPound. Since we’ve never heard of those, your funds are likely unsafe. Besides, the company charges an inactivity fee of $50 in case your account is inactive for more than 30 days and 30% of the amount in case you wish to close your trading account.

Methods of Payment

The broker hasn’t specified available payment methods but based on their glossary in the Client Agreement; we can conclude that the firm accepts the following:

  • Debit/credit cards
  • Wire transfer
  • E-wallet

Smartytrade Review: Why This Platform Raises Concerns

Smartytrade is the trading brand of Olma LTD, an offshore trading platform supposedly registered in the Marshall Islands. The broker’s website offers a simple web-based trading platform with high leverage.

Is Smartytrade legit or just another Marshall Islands fraud like MultiLP? Read our unbiased and truthful Smartytrade Review to find out and also learn how you can get your money back from cyber scammers.

How to  Withdraw from This Company? Since this company is unlikely to return your money – contact your bank or financial regulator, or simply reach out to us for professional assistance in recovering your funds.

Legal Info: Is Smartytrade Regulated?

The Marshall Islands is not considered a safe jurisdiction simply because the local regulator is not up to par with esteemed onshore authorities in terms of enforcing financial market regulations.

Therefore, an entity registered there cannot be considered properly regulated. For instance, offshore brokers are not liable to compensate clients in case of insolvency or suspicious losses. Also, they aren’t required to segregate traders’ funds in a different bank account.

Some other Smartytrade reviews we found suggest this brokerage firm is based in Canada, which contradicts the information on the website. For all these reasons, we do not recommend you trade on this platform.

Instead of trusting offshore imposters, you should stick to regulated providers operating under the supervision of esteemed financial authorities such as the FCA (UK), CFTC & NFA (US), ASIC (Australia), IIROC (Canada), BaFin (Germany), MAS (Singapore), CySEC (Cyprus), etc.

Who Are Smartytrade’s Targets?

According to godaddy.com/whois, the Smartytrade.com website domain was created on December 16, 2020. Since then, the dubious brokerage has mainly been offering services to unwary traders who reside in the following countries:

  • United Kingdom;
  • United States;
  • Canada;
  • India.

Unlike the Marshall Islands, these countries are known for heavy financial market regulations, especially the UK and the US. A common law they have in force stipulates that each financial market participant is required to possess a necessary license or permit for it.

Not only is Smartytrade unlicensed, but the broker directly violates the regulations that these countries have. For example, the broker offers leverage up to 1:100 but the legal limits for retail clients in the UK and US are 1:30 and 1:50, respectively. If you’re an American trader, we suggest you check out Lightspeed.com.

Trader Reviews – Sharing Experiences

At the time of this writing, Smartytrade had six reviews and an average score of 4.2/5 (great) on trustpilot.com. Even though these are positive reviews, we suspect they are dishonest.

The website has been active for three years and yet these reviews started appearing in the last two weeks. On the other hand, we found several complaints against the broker on scamadviser.com.

“After you manage to grow your balance and decide to withdraw your money then these so called legitimate platforms refuse to answer,”

one trader said, which comes as no surprise given Smartytrade’s shady status.

Fake reviews are a common trick scammers use to paint an illusion and deceive traders so please avoid trading on unregulated platforms and instead stick to transparent and licensed providers.

Which Trading Platform Is Available?

Smartytrade claims to offer a web-based platform that supports trading popular instruments and options such as Forex currency pairs, CFDs, and binary options.

However, the demo account is only available after you open a live account and deposit real money in it, which we have refused to do and so should you. Web platforms are lackluster anyway.

If you want a pure trading experience, you should stick to licensed providers that support proper third-party software such as MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or cTrader.

MT platforms are arguably the best in the industry, enabling traders to utilize innovative tools such as automated & algorithmic trading, advanced charting, live market reports, branch optimization, 20+ timeframes, EAs, a user-friendly interface, etc.

Available Live Account Types

Account Type Bronze Silver Gold
Minimum Deposit 250 USD N/A N/A
Maximum Leverage 1:100 1:100 1:100
Deposit Bonus 50% 100% 150%

Leverage, Spreads, Commissions, Bonuses

The maximum leverage that Smartytrade offers is 1:100, which, as we mentioned, is significantly higher than the legal cap for retail clients in Europe (1:30) and North America (1:50). High leverage can amplify potential profits but also potential losses, making it pretty risky.

Trading costs, i.e. spreads and commissions were not disclosed but the FAQ section says that on a 50/50 binary options trade, the platform charges a 15% commission on profits.

Moreover, the broker awards clients bonuses, which, by the way, are banned in Europe. These pesky incentives come with strings attached though. “In order to withdraw any bonus amount, the deposit amount on which the bonus was awarded plus the bonus amount must be turned over a total of 20 times,” the bonus policy stipulates.

That’s a pretty insane trading volume requirement, not something you would want in your contract so please avoid dealing with this cunning con broker.

Deposit and Withdrawal Process

Smartytrade states that there are three available payment methods that can be used to fund live trading accounts:

  • Credit/debit cards (MasterCard, VISA);
  • Wire transfers;
  • Cryptocurrencies.

In case you deposited funds via MasterCard or VISA credit/debit cards, you can request a chargeback at the issuing bank within 540 days and reverse the transaction. Wires can be reversed via a recall but this action can only work for transactions yet to be completed.

To reverse crypto transactions, you’re going to need to seek out professional assistance as these types of payments can be a nightmare to refund. Luckily, we have a team of experts that can help you recover your funds.

Key Facts To Consider About Smartytrade

Tradereview Review – A Clever Scam Designed To Fool You

The fraudulent broker known as Tradereview is about to get reviewed by the Tradereview Review. We’re dealing with a crafty, multilayered scheme here so watch out. The website was put together to look stylish but beyond that facade, there’s an evil scam lurking. We will analyze what Tradereview has to offer as well as key facts about it.

Also, we recommend you not to invest in the fraudulent brokers Dav Invest, Central Margins and OnyxTraders.

Broker status: Unregulated Broker
Regulated by: Unlicensed Scam Brokerage
Scammers Websites: trdreview.com
Blacklisted as a Scam by: OSC, IOSCO
Owned by: GLOBALTEERS LTD
Headquarters Country: Marshall Islands
Foundation year: 2022
Supported Platforms: WebTrader
Minimum Deposit: N/A
Cryptocurrencies: No
Types of Assets: Forex, Indices, Metals, Energies, Futures, Shares
Maximum Leverage: 1:400
Free Demo Account: No
Accepts US clients: Yes

Can I Trust The Forex Broker Tradereview?

According to the broker’s website, Tradereview says its owner company is called Globalteers Ltd, based in the Marshall Islands. Then we are treated with this in the “About Us” section – “Based out of one of Europe’s largest financial hubs.” Wait, what?! Which financial hub is it? What does Europe have to do with the Marshall Islands? This probably left you scratching your head like us.

The Marshall Islands is known as being home to numerous scams and offshore providers. So much for any license. Also, this fraudulent broker was blacklisted by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and the Madrid-based International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

Why Is Trading On a Licensed Broker’s Platform Preferable?

That ought to be enough evidence to convince you not to trust the trickster. Please note that for a broker to be reliable and legitimate, it has to possess a license issued by renowned regulators such as the FCA, ASIC, CySEC, BaFin, etc. Tradereview hasn’t got that, hence why it is risky.

So Is Tradereview a Decent Broker or a Scam?

While it may look legit, this scam can be busted like any other by analyzing the broker’s offer, account types, platforms and regulatory status.

What Platform Does Tradereview Provide Access To? – Software Functionality

Tradereview claims to offer three platforms and a guide for one of them – the WebTrader. How convenient, a little something for everyone. It seems a little too good to be true, right? Let’s take a closer look at each of these platforms.

WebTrader

As you could have imagined, WebTrader is nothing special. It lacks any advanced tools you might need for trading. It’s nowhere near being the “most powerful and convenient trading platform,” as our phony broker has put it. Also, this particular platform was devoid of trading options. The only thing you can do is make a deposit.

Platform For Desktop

In this section on the website, we get three paragraphs that basically say the same thing, “best trading platform,” blah, blah, blah. Tradereview even goes a step further and claims you get the “ability to customize charts using chart studies and indicators.” The threat arises when you try to download it. You’ll be told that the installation file lacks proper publisher information.

Platform For Mobile

The mobile platform is probably a mix of both the WebTrader and the Desktop platform, i. e. the negative sides. There’s nothing here worth mentioning. The scammer wants you to pay, it doesn’t care about giving you a valid platform.

AnyDesk and TeamViewer

This is where Tradereview takes the scam to a whole new level. You get told to download the AnyDesk and TeamViewer apps. While there’s nothing wrong with these apps per se, they can easily be utilized by the trickster to get to your personal data on your device. The fraudster will probably use sweet talk to persuade you to install the apps.

Tradereview Accounts Overview

You get to choose from three account types – Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each offers higher leverage than the last. What’s strange is that the minimum deposits for each account were not disclosed. Ladies and gentlemen, there’s your red flag.

Real Account

There’s a real account, but no demo account?! Really?! Here the scam broker requires you to submit your personal documents. It also gives instructions about credit card and wire transfer payments.

Does The Broker Offer A Demo Version?

As we’ve already said, there’s no demo account. A legitimate broker would always include one. So much for trying to appear credible. However, we encountered a promo code but more on that later.

Also, avoid the trading frauds VirtusCapital, Cryptocycle, and CoinmasFX at all costs! Moreover, before investing, always look into the past of internet trading firms!

The Tradereview Affiliate Programs

Essentially, the affiliate program was just put there to make it seem like you’re dealing with a serious business. You’re promised prompt payments, regular incentives and marketing tools. However, nobody guarantees you these benefits.

Tradereview – Countries Of Service

The scammer operates in the US, UK, Poland and Canada. It also provided phone numbers for Ireland and Switzerland. Yet, it was blacklisted by the OSC, which is located in Canada. Not looking good for Tradereview. Then we have the promo code. The fraudulent broker probably sends this to people it deems perfect victims, which may mark them as such if they use it.

What Is Known About Tradereview’s Trading Conditions?

From what we gathered, the leverage ranges from 1:200 to 1:400. These levels are extremely high and could result in great losses, hence why most regulators limited leverage to 1:30 (UK, EU) and 1:50 (US) for retail clients. Spreads can be discerned from the web trading platform. It exceeds 2 pips, quite unfavorable and unprofitable.

Tradereview Minimum Deposit, Withdrawal Terms and Fees

As previously mentioned, Tradereview failed to reveal the minimum deposit. Payment methods include Visa/MasterCard and bank transfers. The minimum withdrawal amount is $50 and of course, the policy regarding it is riddled with ambiguous clauses. The broker says it doesn’t charge fees at all.

Scammed by Tradereview Broker? – Let Us Hear Your Story

The bad thing is that you’ve been scammed and it sucks. We can report the scammer for you to make you feel better. The good thing, however, is that you can get your money back. All you have to do is request either a chargeback or a recall.

But What Is A Chargeback And A Recall?

If you deposited money via credit/debit card, then you can request a chargeback. Simply visit the issuing bank within 540 days. A recall is basically a reversal of wire transfers. Your chances here are pretty slim since the recall cannot be performed if the transaction has been completed. That’s why it’s important to act quickly!

What Is Tradereview?

Tradereview claims to be a financial market provider based in the Marshall Islands.

Is Tradereview a Scam Broker?

Tradereview is a scam broker because it is unregulated and blacklisted by the OSC and the IOSOC.

Is Tradereview Available in the United States or the UK?

Tradereview is available both in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Does Tradereview Offer a Demo Account?

Tradereview does not offer a demo account on its official website.

Unfortunately, many users start reading reviews only after falling victim to scams. We sincerely hope that you are not one of them!

However, if you’re here because you suspect that your investment isn’t in a safe place, know that you have the right to claim funds back!

Holding Partners Review – We’ve Exposed holding-partners.com Scheme

Holding Partners broker seems to be another anonymous shady website established to take your money. Don’t take our word for it; let us show you everything. Read our Holding Partners review and check out for yourself why there are so many negative comments about this firm.

Broker status: Unregulated
Regulated by: Unlicensed brokerage
Scammers Websites: holding-partners.com
Blacklisted as a Scam by: FSMA, CONSOB, CNMV
Owned by: N/A
Headquarters Country: N/A
Foundation year: N/A
Supported Platforms: Web trader
Minimum Deposit: $250
Cryptocurrencies: Yes – BTC, XRP, ETH
Types of Assets: FX, commodities, indies, shares, cryptocurrencies
Maximum Leverage: 1:300
Free Demo Account: No
Accepts US clients: Yes

What About Holding Partners Regulation?

There’s not much we know about Holding Partners. We don’t have the name of the owner, headquarters, or the governing law. The company didn’t even bother to provide us with the basic Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy. Therefore, they believe they’re free to handle clients’ funds however they want since they won’t be penalized for fraudulent activities.

Even though there are official regulatory warnings against this firm and some actions have been taken, we would advise you to stay away from the this company scheme.

In addition to the above, we strongly advise you not to invest in Tradiso, 365Falcon and TixForex fraudulent brokers.

Holding Partners Warnings From Financial Regulators

After many Holding Partners complaints, the Belgian regulator has published an official warning, adding this website to the list of unregulated entities.

Later, the same warning was republished by the Italian CONSOB and the Spanish CNMV.

Holding Partners Trading Instruments

Holding Partners is a typical broker with a standard offer of trading instruments. Clients can trade on:

  • Currency pairs
  • Commodities
  • Indices
  • Stocks
  • Cryptocurrencies

All the trades are executed on the company’s Web trader, while there’s misleading information about leverage. The Account Types section suggests that VIP traders can have up to 1:150, while the main page promises leverage of up to 1:300. Whatever the case is, it’s unregulated, and you’re putting your money at risk. Besides, the minimum deposit is standard, $250, but you can invest the same amount with a regulated broker and sleep peacefully.

Fund Withdrawal Issues With Holding Partners Broker

Since the broker is unregulated and tried hard to cover the participants in the scheme, it’s clear that the company has been established for one purpose only – to extort your money and vanish. That’s how we’ve come to the point where clients who submit withdrawal requests are ignored and blocked. They can no longer access their funds or reach any account manager or support member. If you’re one of the Holding Partners victims, let us know.

Areas Of Holding Partners Trading Scam

According to reviews, the broker is mainly present in the US, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic. Since it’s hidden and unlicensed, there are no restricted areas. Wherever you are, ensure you decline any proposals coming from the Holding Partners scam firm.

Traders About Holding Partners Scam

Of course, traders are massively complaining about withdrawals, but that’s not the only issue. As you can see for yourself, once you open the broker’s website, you will find the logo of AnyDesk and TeamViewer. Clients will be prompted to download one of these two software that enable the account manager remote access to your mobile device or desktop. Once they gain such access, they can easily log in to your online banking and transfer everything you have to themselves. And this is when you can say goodbye to your funds.

How Does Online Trading Scam Work?

There are several ways to scam clients. This firm chose to present itself as a legitimate investment company while at the same time using tools such as AnyDesk and TeamViewer. Once the account manager earns your trust with some small profits, they won’t hesitate to transfer your entire life savings to their own accounts. And after you complain to your bank, getting your money back will be difficult since the transfer was made from your online banking and your IP address.

Also remember the names of the BSB-GLOBAL, MaxProInvest and Infinox trading scams and avoid them at all costs! Moreover, always check the background of online trading companies before investing!

Evotrade Review: Final Verdict and Summary

Presenting itself as a regulated brokerage, Evotrade listed some unknown organizations and a false license certificate. This led many clients to believe they were dealing with a legit company they could trust. However, our Evotrade review discovered a lot behind this show. Let’s start and see.

Broker status: Offshore Broker
Regulated by: Unlicensed brokerage
Scammers Websites: https://evotrade.com/
Blacklisted as a Scam by: FINACOM
Owned by: TechWare Limited
Headquarters Country: Seychelles
Foundation year: N/A
Supported Platforms: MT5
Minimum Deposit: $250
Cryptocurrencies: Yes – only BTC and ETH
Types of Assets: FX, commodities, indices, shares, cryptocurrencies
Maximum Leverage: N/A
Free Demo Account: Yes
Accepts US clients: No

Evotrade Regulations and Security

Evotrade is an offshore brokerage from Seychelles, owned by TechWare Limited. However, FSA Seychelles has no proof of such a company. Besides, the broker is also listed to be regulated by the FMRRC, a non-existing regulator. There is IFMRRC, an independent regulatory body. However, it didn’t issue any sort of license for Evotrade or TechWare Limited. It means we’re dealing with a fraudulent brokerage that you should avoid at all costs.

Evotrade Warnings From Financial Regulators

Evotrade was blacklisted by another independent financial regulatory body, FINACOM. The warning came after the organization received numerous complaints regarding withdrawal issues and the broker contacted clients via messages through social media and popular apps.

Fund Withdrawal Issues

As expected, since there is no real regulatory body, Evotrade is conducting a scam. According to many reviews we’ve seen, the brokerage is encouraging clients to invest as much as possible, but once they submit a withdrawal request, it will never be approved. If a client is too persistent in getting their money back, their account will be blocked since the broker can no longer handle requests. The moment you stop paying money to the company, you’re losing your value.

If you cannot withdraw your funds from Evotrade, talk to our experts for help.

Traders Opinion

As aforementioned, traders are not delighted with dealing with Evotrade. Many of them cannot get their money back, but a lot of them cannot even make money. Broker is allegedly offering an MT5, but the platform itself has a lot of lags, which is unaffordable when you have a trading platform.

You should avoid Evotrade forex broker and similar brokers such as IqToro, and AssetDex.

How Does Online Trading Scam Work?

Online trading scams start with overpromising ads and a broker’s support team that will go above and beyond to take your money. You are provided with such a service, and in the case of Evotrade, a fake license, that you cannot imagine what will possibly go wrong. Yet, you will discover later on that everything was just a nice story before you are fully involved and probably prompted to add more money. If you went above the minimum deposit of $250 and upgraded your account, the broker will use this to blackmail you and never let you have a payout.

Beware of the Evotrade scam and report any incidents immediately.

Legal Info: Is SWKInvest Legit Or A Scam?

SWKInvest broker is far from legit. If you take a look at the swkinvest.com website, you quickly realize they are not revealing anything important. Primarily, ownership and license information.

But we checked anyway for licenses in Tier 1 regulator databases, such as BaFin, FCA and ASIC. However, instead of a regulatory approval, we found multiple warnings. In the first place, these were issued by German BaFin and Austrian FMA.

Who Are SWKInvest’s Clients?

According to who.is, this website has been active since March 2023. Luckily, the broker is already exposed. Yet, some traders have already become their victims. Mainly ones from:

  • Germany
  • Poland
  • Ukraine
  • Italy

Let us hear about your experience with this broker. Also, don’t hesitate to contact us directly for refund advice.

Investment Costs With SWKInvest

Important to realize is that SWKInvest doesn’t reveal any trading costs, except for the contract commission of $0.65. Besides, neither are fees, spreads or commissions known with them. The only thing potentially real is the leverage of up to 1:500.

However, such high leverage without negative balance protection is extremely risky. That’s why European regulators allow a maximum of 1:30.

Bonuses

With SWKInvest broker, you can also get a 10% credit bonus. Just bear in mind that it’s a trick to get you to open a crypto wallet, because those 10% allegedly go there. Ultimately, they have a very easy option to steal money from you.

SWKInvest Trading Features

This broker promotes all the advanced trading features. In fact, there are ones that you can indeed use with cTrader or MetaTrader. Examples include Expert Advisors, automated trading, and advanced analytical tools. However, the company is hiding its software because it’s most likely a plain web trader.

Available Trading Assets

According to the company, they are offering all 5 major instrument classes. But without insight into the platform, it’s hard to confirm that. In any case, potential options are:

  • Forex – USD/GBP, AUD/HKD
  • Commodities – natural gas, silver
  • Indices – DAX30, FTSE100
  • Shares – IBM, Tesla
  • Cryptos – BTC, ETH

Account Types

SWKInvest clients can choose between 3 account types. But a higher deposit only brings you riskier trading conditions. To be fair, also some support and educational features. Most likely fake. Anyway, the options are:

  • Starter – $250
  • Basic – $14.000
  • VIP – $50.000

Mobile Trading App

Mobile apps for iOS and Android users are not available with this broker. This is primarily because they are not using any reliable third-party technology. Therefore, you can expect various manipulations, especially while using mobile devices.

Demo Account

Another key feature, especially for beginners, is a demo account. It can show you all the tools and help you practice before you invest any money. On the other hand, SWKInvest doesn’t think that’s relevant for their clients.

Education

In fact, this broker offers trading lessons and trading signals. However, everything might be completely fake, like the whole company. Therefore, we suggest you find a licensed broker to educate you about trading properly. But FxxTrader is also not one of those.

SWKInvest Withdrawal

Without a withdrawal policy, you can only expect problems. But also because the broker promotes crypto transfers as the safest option. Yet, once you send them crypto, money is gone.

The company doesn’t reveal processing time or fees either. But if you hear about any fees, know that’s a way to extort more money from you.

Customer Support

Another warning sign is that the company only has one contact option, at least for new clients. That is a web form. But for existent clients, they might offer encrypted contact options like Telegram or WhatsApp.

You should definitely not expect something that would expose their real location. Therefore, we encourage you to read our LQDFX review to learn more ways to protect yourself.

Key Information To Consider About SWKInvest?

Primarily, the broker is not regulated anywhere. Neither are they revealing their ownership or location details. After all, their trading conditions are suspicious. Even without those warnings from regulators, you can see they are scam broker.

But if you were somehow their victim, don’t lose hope. Our refund specialists can guide you step-by-step through the refund procedure. You can book a free first consultation and then decide if you want to proceed or not. Contact us today!

MarketLTD Detailed Review

MarketLTD is one of the companies that popped up in 2021 and will probably soon be shut down. Since the brokerage itself is illegal and there’s already a regulatory warning against it, we’re expecting it to follow the pattern of similar investment firms. However, while they’re still here, read our MarketLTD review and collect the information.

Blacklisted as a Scam by: BaFin

Headquarters Country: Commonwealth of Dominica
Foundation year: 2021

What About MarketLTD Regulation?

MarketLTD is owned by Propinquity Group LTD from the Commonwealth of Dominica. The company is registered with the Dominican FSU, but there’s an issue with it. This regulator doesn’t oblige companies to form compensation funds to reimburse clients in case of scams. This license is more-less fictive; the only thing a broker needs to do is to pay a fee of a few thousand dollars.

Don’t trust such firms and always look for Tier1 regulated brokers holding licenses from the FCA or ASIC, for example. They must form substantial funds of above 700,000 EUR, and this money is to be used in case of fraud.

In addition to the above, we strongly advise you not to invest in DCMGroup, FXPlanB and ImperialFunding fraudulent brokers.

MarketLTD Warnings From Financial Regulators

During the year, German BaFin has received numerous MarketLTD complaints and decided to publish an official warning, asking the company to stop providing financial services in Germany as it has no authorization. We are positive that many more warnings will come since MarketLTD operates illegally everywhere.

Fund Withdrawal Issues With MarketLTD Broker

Knowing that MarketLTD is an offshore fraud, we were not surprised to learn about withdrawal issues. Many clients filed complaints as they could not access their trading accounts after submitting withdrawal requests. It seems that this broker has a scheme – once you decide it’s enough investing and it’s time for the payout, your account will be frozen, and you won’t be able to get a penny back or even see your account anymore. Be aware of the MarketLTD trading scam and report any irregularities immediately.

Areas Of MarketLTD Trading Scam

The broker is mainly present in Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Paraguay, according to reviews. It tells us that the main focus is the EU and Latin American countries. Again, we need to reiterate that you have no compensation funds and no guarantee of withdrawals. Don’t let yourself become another MarketLTD scam victim.

Traders About MarketLTD Scam

After being scammed, there’s not much that traders can say. They’re massively reporting withdrawal problems but also issues with account managers, trading platforms and more. Once you want to invest the money, support will be immense. Everything will change once you ask for a withdrawal. You may even be prompted to pay additional taxes and fees but will still not see a penny back.

How Does Online Trading Scam Work?

Being a victim of an online trading scam implies that the fraudulent trading firm stole your money, and you have no way to get it back through the brokerage. Everything starts with an ad overpromising the money. Once you accept the offer and involve yourself in the trading business, you will be asked for more and more money under different excuses. When it’s time to get your money back, you’ll understand that you have been scammed and won’t be able to submit a withdrawal request since your account will most likely be frozen.

Also remember the names of the Global GT and Investo Capital FX trading scams and avoid them at all costs! Moreover, always check the background of online trading companies before investing!

Barclay Stone Review: This Shady Forex Platform Cannot Be Trusted

Barclay Stone is a dubious offshore trading platform that already claimed many victims. Using the name of a renowned UK bank will not help this scammer evade our truthful analysis. This Forex broker has no legit trading license.

Barclay Stone’s bogus website has been “under construction” for a while but that did not stop us from gathering evidence against the scam. It’s all here in our Barclay Stone Review.

Legal Info: Is Barclay Stone Legit or a Scam

What did we find out about Barclay Stone Ltd? We found an official warning against the BR Stone broker issued by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (iosco.org).  The regulator says that the shady company is based in the offshore domain of St. Lucia.

Furthermore, there is a warning against BarclayStone from the Financial Commission, an independent self-regulatory organization and external dispute resolution body, dedicated specifically to Forex. When an independent entity flags a platform as a scam, it speaks volumes.

Instead of trusting offshore scammers such as BR Stone and goldenrodfx, we suggest you find a legit provider regulated by a reputable financial market authority.

Top-tier regulators such as the FCA (UK), CFTC (US), ASIC (Australia), CySEC (Cyprus), CNMV (Spain), etc. require brokerage companies to possess a substantial minimum operating capital (i.g. 730,000 EUR or 20,000,000 USD), offer clients negative balance protection, a segregated account, and even a compensation scheme (i.g. up to 20,000 EUR).

Who Are Barclay Stone’s Targets?

According to atlaq.com, the Barclay Stone website domain was created on June 10, 2020, and expired on the same day this year. Since then, the illicit broker has mainly been targeting traders who live in the following countries:

  • US;
  • Canada;
  • Germany;
  • Sweden;
  • Israel.

The Polish KNF’s warning against Barclay Stone indicates that the phony broker is not compliant with the laws and regulations of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), which are in force in the European Economic Area.

This implies that Barclay Stone cannot legally operate in Germany or Sweden either. The US, Israel, and Canada have even heavier regulations and are off-limits to Barclay Stone.

Trader Reviews and Negative Barclay Stone Experience

Several trading forums are full of negative reviews and complaints against the Barclay Stone Scam. The websites we visited are personal-reviews.com and forexpeacearmy.com. Some reviews even suggest that this scam is run by Russians.

There is no doubt anymore – Barclay Stone is a despicable financial swindler. Please heed these warnings and stay away from cutthroat platforms such as Barclay Stone and FxxTrader.

I was scammed 16000usd by Barclay Stone Ltd.

They claimed they are uk regulated company. But they are group of russian sitting in Azerbayjan in Baku and stolen my money asking me to give them 10000usd to keep my positions open til war is over because thwir bank is russian.

  • ForexPeaceArmy, March 31, 2022.

Barclay stone is a scam and notorious group of rogues soley working to take hard working people raw cash in broad day light in the name of making or maximizing profit. Do NOT fall prey to their scams and too good to be true webinar and news…

  • PersonalReviews user, November 27, 2021.

Leverage, Commissions, Spreads, Fees and Taxes

Barclay Stone’s leverage can be scaled up to 1:400, which is typical of offshore brokers. They often offer extremely high leverage to attract traders. It is crucial that the greater the leverage, the greater the risk of losing your funds. More often than not, high leverage works against you.

The cyber con artist did not disclose the trading costs, i.e. spreads and commissions. Such a lack of transparency regarding the trading conditions is alarming.

Trading Platforms Available

The Barclay Stone platform selection includes the widely popular MetaTrader 5 and a web-based platform. The former offers built-in technical indicators for advanced chart analysis, the algorithmic trading option, new types of pending orders, live market reports, etc.

MT5 also boasts a clear and simple interface, the ability to use multiple trading accounts simultaneously, new timeframes and indicators, and a built-in strategy tester, making the choice of both novice and advanced traders.

On the other hand, WebTrader offers basic charts, indicators, and graphs but lacks any remotely advanced tools. It fails in comparison to MT5.

Having withdrawal issues? We can help you recover your hard-earned funds.

Mobile Trading App

The Barclay Stone app is available on Android and iOS mobile phone systems. Mobile trading is a big advantage.

Traders can utilize neat features and trade on the go as they wish. On the flexibility side, it is an extremely useful tool. However, trading on an unregulated and fraudulent platform is a terrible idea.

Available Trading Assets

As far as the Barclay Stone trading instrument portfolio goes, the broker offers the following trading instruments:

  • Forex currency pairs – EUR/USD, GBP/CAD, AUD/CHF…
  • Indices – S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, DAX 30…
  • Commodities – gold, crude oil, gas…
  • Stocks – Apple, Bank of America, Coca-Cola…
  • Crypto – BTC, ETH, USDT…

Account Types

The Barclay Stone Login page shows seven different live account types:

  • Basic – 250 USD;
  • Standart – 2,500 USD;
  • Silver – 5,000 USD;
  • Gold – 10,000 USD;
  • Platinum – 25,000 USD;
  • VIP;
  • Elite.

The last two types require traders to first contact the broker. The Silver account and all the higher tiers allegedly offer “silver”, “gold” spreads, etc. But the specific pips and commissions were not revealed.

To make matters worse, this company does not offer a risk-free demo account, which is a red flag. Barclay Stone wants traders to open a live account right away and invest real money so that the scammer can steal it.

If you lost money to the Barclay Stone Scam, book a free consultation with us and we will go through your case.

Barclay Stone Withdrawal Process

Funds can be deposited on the Barclay Stone trading platform via two payment methods:

  • Credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard);
  • Wire transfers.

The minimum deposit is 250 USD. Withdrawal processing time ranges from two to four business days. As for the fees, Barclay Stone claims to charge up to 3.5% on credit card payments depending on the account type. Wire transfer processing time may take up to 7 days, and the broker charges a fixed commission fee of 35 USD.

Key Information To Consider About the Barclay Stone Scam

To sum up, Barclay Stone is an offshore trading scam, blacklisted by the Polish KNF and the Financial Commission. Active since 2020, the scammer has mainly been targeting traders from the US, Sweden, Germany, Israel, and Canada.

Do not invest in this fraudulent platform. If you are a victim of the Barclay Stone scam, book a free consultation with our team and we will explain how the chargeback process works. Credit/debit card payments can be reversed via a chargeback, which can be requested at the issuing bank within 540 days of the transaction.

Completely Illicit Brokerage

The people who run STForex claim that their company is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This claim turned out to be false, as the FSA database has no company with such a name.

The stforex.com website has Russian as the default language setting, which prompted us to search the CBR register to no avail. Some sources indicate that the company might be operating from Belarus, but it does not appear in the CBRB registrar of licensees.

STForex has at one point been a member of the Financial Commission. The company has voluntarily withdrawn their membership in August 2019.

As it stands, STForex is currently an unregulated brokerage, as it is not entered with the registrar of any prominent regulatory body, including FCA, NFA, FINMA, FSCA, BaFIN, CySEC or other.

How Does STForex Attract Victims?

STForex has been operating from as early as 2013. On paper, STForex does not accept clients from a large number of nations, including the USA.

This is complete hogwash, as the majority of the traffic on their website originates in these countries:

  • United Kingdom
  • United States
  • Germany
  • Canada

This faux broker is active on many social platforms, and features profiles on Telegram, VKontakte, Facebook, X and Youtube. This influence alone does wonders to attract new investors.

This is not all, as STForex, like their equally fraudulent colleagues at CapitalBMarket make good use of boiler room agents.

Inflated Online Reputation

Personal review websites like TrustPilot don’t contain many comments about STForex. All the positive content about STForex on other sites is paid for by the company, in an attempt to suppress bad publicity.

STForex is one of the largest financial frauds in the later years. If you have invested any funds with this platform, contact our legal experts to learn about chargeback options.

High Commission And Hidden Leverage

STForex has a deposit commission of 2%, and a withdrawal commission of up to 5% or $85 for foreign bank transfers. Commission per trading lot is up to 10%, with different swaps calculated for various assets.

There is no information about leverage or spreads, however. Companies like STForex and Okx338 rely on this opacity to entrap their victims.

Various Offered Bonuses

Depending on the service package that is currently active on STForex, clients are promised various cashback and passive income benefits.

There are additional loyalty and welcome bonuses offered to the clients, calculated in bonus points. It is unclear how these bonuses are credited, or if they may be withdrawn.

STForex Hidden Trading Features

Besides the availability of trading instruments, clients of STForex are pretty much blind about overall trading features. No trading platform is advertised, and some important topics are either hidden or non-existent.

There is no way for a casual stforex.com visitor to create an STForex login. The website only contains a login form for existing members.

No Trading Platform

We couldn’t find any info about which trading software should be available with STForex. The current industry standards for online trade are MT4, MT5 and cTrader, but STForex features no download links.

Although it is possible that some variant of a web based platform is available through the personal area, we could not gain access to it.

Miniscule Asset Variation

STForex only discloses their Forex based assets in full detail:

  • Forex (EUR/USD, AUD/CAD, USD/JPY, GBP/CHF)

Other assets are claimed to be available, but we couldn’t find any trace of them on the website.

An alarming detail is an advertisement about Cryptocurrency CFDs, which are banned in many parts of the world.

Only Live Trading Available

Live trading accounts, or service packages as STForex calls them, feature these minimum deposits:

  • Standard – $200
  • Silver – $1 000
  • Gold – $5 000
  • VIP – $20 000

Users of more expensive service packages gain certain perks. These range from 8% for the Silver service package, to 12% for VIP packages. Cashback ranges from 10% to 30% of the incurred costs of spreads.

There are no demo or Islamic accounts.

Education Materials

Standard accounts on STForex only get some e-books, while VIP receives full courses and one-on-one strategy discussions.

We couldn’t access the personal area where these would be available, and cannot comment on the overall quality of education materials.

Withdrawals Not Allowed

STForex withdrawals are allegedly handled through valid financial channels like bank cards, wire transfers and e-wallets. The company wouldn’t be in hot water for fraudulent activities if these claims were true, however.

STForex, like CityInv260 withhold all of the client’s funds, and never allowed any payouts. For assistance in asset recovery, contact our legal experts through the live chat.

Nobody Answers Support Tickets

The only two methods for contacting customer support at STForex are email and phone call back. These work great for the scammers, since they can just ignore any customer support tickets.

Needless to say, as a non-member, we couldn’t get in touch with STForex customer support.

We’re Here To Help With Withdrawal

24xForex Review: Could This Broker Scam You?

When you decide to start a trading account, you want to make sure that you are in the right hands. How to know it? Simple. Verify if the broker is regulated and legit. Now, we decided to answer these questions for you. Read our 24xForex updated review and find out why this broker is so poorly rated among traders.

Regulated by: none
Headquarters Country: Marshall Islands
Foundation year: N/A
Supported Platforms: MT4, web trader
Founder company: Paco World System Ltd

Regulation and Security

Our first impression about the 24xForex broker is that it’s a bad joke. The brand is owned by the company named Paco World System Ltd. For those who are not familiar, Pak’s World is a Spanish telenovela from the 1990s. Also, the name of the brand reminds a lot of the company Forex 24, a legit broker regulated by CySEC, BaFin, CNMV. After we went over this fact, we discovered that the broker is registered in the Marshall Islands, and claims to have an office in the UK. However, we couldn’t find it in the FCA register.

This broker is not regulated and not safe to trade with.

In which countries does this broker work?

Since the broker has no regulation whatsoever, it cannot operate legally anywhere. However, on the website of 24xForex, you can see the broker bragging about operating from the US, Japan, Asia, and more. When we checked the reviews of this broker, seems that most of its clients are coming from Norway, Czech Republic, the UK, France..

Wherever you are, this broker is unregulated, and we strongly advise you against trading with this company.

How Online Trading Scams Work

The online trading scam is something we see every day, unfortunately. It occurs when traders do not check the broker, and the broker is representing falsely. Like in the case of 24xForex, some brokers hide their real address or put something not true. To make people believe they are regulated or legit. Now, after you see the fake ad and fake information about the broker, you might believe you are in the right place. You start investing money with this broker, and it might even look good. You see some profits, everything seems legit. But what happens after you want to withdraw your money?

There are several scenarios. Sometimes you cannot access your account anymore. Simply speaking, you are blocked from access to your own money. And there is nothing you can do. Another scenario is that you submit a withdrawal request and never heard from this broker again. And again, there is nothing you can do. The possibility is also that you will be convinced many times that you cannot take the funds because of your mistake – you clicked the wrong button and your money is gone. Or you didn’t submit documents. Or something else, but also not logical.

And this is when you understand that you have been scammed.

Scammed by 24xForex?

If you’ve been in the situation we described above, do not panic. There are things you can do. Maybe not in your account, or with the broker’s cooperation, but not everything is lost.

Chargeback Is Your Solution! You can file a dispute and request a chargeback.

Chargeback is returning funds to your card in case you didn’t get the product or the service you paid for. You need to prove that you were a victim of a scam by 24xForex and get your money back.

Do not wait for more. Contact us for help immediately!

Is 24xForex a good broker?

No. 24xForex is an offshore broker with a fake address in the UK.

Is 24xForex a Scam?

24xForex broker is an offshore broker that is operating without a license. Therefore, your funds are not safe with this broker.

Is 24xforex regulated?

No, this broker is operating from the Marshall Islands and has no regulations.

Where is 24xforex broker based?

The broker 24xForex is based in the Marshall Islands, an offshore country.

Unfortunately, many users start reading reviews only after falling victim to scams. We sincerely hope that you are not one of them!
